what is a good Graphics card for video editing, 3d cad, and gaming 1440p.

I am going to be building a computer in the near future and  i am trying to put together a parts list. i am going to be using an i7 6700k, ROG VIII Hero Alpha, NZXT Noctis 450, EVGA 600 watt PSU, NZXT Kraken x31, g.skill trident z 16 gb 3600mhz, and i am looking at the evga gtx 960 4gb FTW, is that a good Gpu, willi be able to do 3d cad?

Of course, probably around 99% of games. Games like Withcer 3 and ROTR? Definitely not, without dialing settings way way back.

I'd recommend the R9 390 or R9 290

Current PC: Origin Millennium- i7 5820K @4.0GHz | GTX 980Ti SLI | X99 Deluxe

i see, right now, those GPU's are out of my budget, my budget tops out at 250.

like i said my budhet is 250. i was looking at the GTX 970s but they are just too much for me right now.

went a bit overbudget... but just because u fix on some high end parts...

i skipped an ssd for now just to fit in a 390 for much better performance than the 960, u can replace it with a 970

i suggest you get an ssd when you have extra money in the future. for now, live with a hdd

so i should skimp on the less important parts like super high speed ram, to have more money for more important parts.
