Thanks for the link, helps a lot, also good to know that i can save a pretty penny by using slightly slower RAM and overclocking it.

no problem.

only cpus that would see MASSIVE differences would be a10 apus, as the inergrated gpu uses the ram as dedicated vram.

i wouldnt change the case if someone picked it, its a very personal preference thing lol

as i mentioned, mine cost more because i was trying to fit in as many things from his wishlist as i could xD

he chose a case?

i had no idea. lol

what was his wishlist?

i dont know that either.

I mean, if it performs better, he might change his wishlist :)

in tha  case, whats better, the 390 or the GTX 970.

reason for 970:

nvidia features

less power consumption

reason for 390:

more performance

cost around the same, if not less

more vram

(getting tired typing this 4~5 times a day)

oh.

OOPS.lol, didnt see that.

but you gotta admit, the link i made is WAY more powerful than that. i basically moved 4200 from the VIII to the gpu and psu. moved $70 from the cooler to the case, but as i said, he can get a 390 that will be fime, a 390 is more "futureproof" and move that $90 to  more ram, more hdd, or better ssd. also, he can get a cheaper case.

i got 760t.

sad i didnt get the silent base 800 windowed. costs less, looks nicer.

the reason i am using the more expensive hero alpha mobo, is because I want wifi and bluetooth on my build. if i went with a cheaper mobo without wifi and bluetooth, what would be my best bet for a wifi and bluetooth adapter.

just get a wifi adaptor from newegg, reliatively cheap, $25-430, and some wifi modules have bluetooth added
