Need Help Choosing 18th Birthday/High School Grad Present

So here's what up, I've been wanting to get a high end gaming laptop/work station. But I have been offered as present from my father who has been non-existent in my life for a few years, but recently I have slowly let back into my life. He's asked me what I would like as a birthday/grad present but I have no idea on laptop's. Any suggestions would be taken into consideration and greatly appreciated. He has said I don't have a budget and size doesn't matter. So please help me out :)

Thanks

- Perry

And desktops are fine, since you said size doesn't matter? And how much of each do you really do.

I took a look at the stealth and core and I may get it because I like form factor and then the core to give it that extra over drive factor thank you :)

Read the edit, and also I would probably say don't get anything too expensive. Just get what you need, and not what you want. I believe that, if someone truly wants something, they shouldn't have to ask someone for it, they should get it on their own will, and if there is disappointment in it, you only have yourself to blame for wanting it/ having a strong desire for it.

I think this is reasonable. You can add G-Sync if you want.

If you already have a desktop look at something like the dell precision 5510 or xps 15. Thin fast laptops. If you don't need every ounce of power you can get on the go, might as well get something thin and sexy.

Any Laptop with a Thunderbolt gen 3 (TB3) would do the trick. Dont go for the razer blade/ stealth ( or the fucked up name it is called) just for the Rzare core. It is with a TB3 port so any new laptop with this port would do the trick and you will have the opportunity to upgrade it with eGPU in the future.

If you want a powerful machine then buy the Sager with a 980 in it. Most laptops such as the Razer ones will have serious heat issues when you put in high end hardware
