My 970 should come in the mail tomorrow so I was wondering this: Should I keep my MSI 560ti 448 core Twin Frozr III as a Physx card?

Only games I play that use it are Arma 3, Metro 2033, Metro Last Light, and Fallout 4.

A 560Ti would probably be way too slow to keep up, but you can try it and see (although it would only give you a few extra FPS at best).

Not really worth it. using a physx card thats too slow will hurt performance more than helping it.

 

A 970 should be good enough to handle itself in regards with physx.
