Gpu: GTX 970 MSI overclocked core by 125 MHz

Cpu: Intel i7-4790K 4.00/4.40 GHz 

Ram: 16 GB DDR3 1600MHz

after overclocking a bit more i added a second test

this was done with a boost of 225 MHz to the chip and a 550MHz + to the Memory

What the damn hell?! - Please comment with suggestions to what the issue is.

 

Not running any other significant programmes, Crimson is up-to-date.. GPU seems to perform as it should in games.

Whats interesting is I have two problems with this test.  First, my UPS yelled at me when I ran this test because I had less than 5 minutes of backup time on AC, so if I lost power, I'd be SOL.  I genuinely thought I had lost power, but no... Just this test hammers the GPU and drinks electricity like fine wine.  Second, since i know my machine can handle it, I gotta figure a way to tell the wife that VR is something I need.........................
