Would a USB Wireless Headset benefit from a Soundcard?

htran27

I am currently using a Sony Playstation Wireless Gold Headphones that has two configuration for connection. A 3.5mm Jack and USB Dongle. I was wondering If I can use the wired method (3.5mm jack) plug it into a sound card and benefit from it?

You could plug the 3.5mm plug into a soundcard, but unless there is something wrong with your current solution you won't notice a difference.

No.

The 3.5mm connector on the headset is for convenience and use with devices that lack a USB output. If you use it, you'll be going from D > A > D > A (converting twice) which lowers quality.
