Best Desktop Speakers for $150-400?

Steven9595

Hey all! Looking for some really nice desktop speakers. I'd say $400 would be my maximum. I was looking at the Bose Companion 5 that Linus reviewed but idk if I'm sold with them being the $400 maximum...

If you have room for the the JBL305s would be much better.  If I had $400 to spend on desktop speakers it would probably be those for $220.

If you have the space, I'd go for some passive bookshelf speaker, a good amp, a powered subwoofer and some wires.  The one recommended above is a good place to start.

Just make sure you have the spacing right.

You have to have space between the wall and the speakers or you don't do the baseport justice

And you should get the anglepad things aswell to make them face your head on desktop use.
