How come Intel made the Pentium and Celeron crap?

Darts401

I have a serious question, how come Intel made Pentium's budget CPUs and Celeron's paper weight CPUs?

Laptop specs:

CPU: Core i7 3630QM

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT630M

RAM: 16gb of unknown origin

Storage: 1tb HDD (probably going to upgrade to an SSD at some point)

Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro RGB

Both are low cost chips made specifically for office and internet workloads. My father uses a celeron processor and it suits his needs perfectly and saved him from spending an extra 200-300$ to get into the core lineup.

A lot of i7's become corrupt and become i5's, lots of i5's become corrupt and become i3's, i'3's to Pentium then Celeron. Instead of throwing failed i7/i5/i3's, make some money and market a budget option.

There is actually a demand in the low end market for these CPUs and that is exactly why they exist. Why should someone pay have to pay $320 for an i7 when all they do is check their email?

i would agree with you but for what i have saved to my money going with a g3258 rather than going with the lowest i5 4460 current application i run and game played equally pared with my g3258. so i would only believe that you my friend might be a really Heavy User to say that Pentium will be a Crap CPU, for a $50-60 Price difference of a $190-200 here in my Country i would go all out with a Low Pentium to save more cash for the i5-6600k system with this coming holidays.

i would suggest to do intensive research about what will be your main purpose of the CPU, 70% of all my question in my past Post say that the G3258 was crap but with a testing comparing with a system running on i5 4460 to every test we did similar Games and App i really did not even Notice the Difference with the two Chip so do alot of searching so that you might get a little bit of info.
