Yeah, see I was thinking along those lines. Theres always better out there, but 1080p @60hz is good enough for me. In the future, when monitor tech goes further, I’ll get something better for cheaper than what they run now.

well, just keep in mind that 60hz monitor will cap your fps at 60. meaning if you have 100+ over fps, your display will only show 60fps maximum.

Nope.

A 60hz monitor will not cap your fps to 60.

And while a 60hz monitor will not be able to display a lot more frames, there are scenarios that you will notice the "smoothness" with higher fps.
