First major retailer i've seen selling them. Here ya go.

This launch is such a mess. Newegg has motherboard/cpu combos with motherboards that wont support ivy bridge e out of box. Intel released ivy bridge e with there being only 1 motherboard (evga dark) that supports the chip out of box and even that board only supports it in beta. I just dont see how this retailers are selling this chip (even in combos) without compatible motherboards.

Tigerdirect and Microcenter websites mention it but cant find it.

I was thinking the same thing, the 3970X has been at $1019.99 for the past month and for some odd reason the 3960X has stayed at $1069.99. I have no Idea why they have not lowered the price to the 3960X yet and I'm really confused as to why the 3960X is more expensive then the 3970X.
