Either way, minecraft, no matter how modded should not take that much ram. It seems like a memory leak, if it slowly goes up, and lags after reaching 10gb.

When I play my modded minecraft game the ammount of memory used slowly goes up until it reaches 100% and then causes a lag spike I gave MC 10GB of RAM. Any solutions?

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

This is a stupid question: Does your computer actually have 10 or more GB of RAM?

Is it possible that the issue is actually the GPU? I know that some mods like better foliage eat up gpu horsepower.

Edit: if you have 4 servers running at 5 gigs each thats 20gb and one running at 10 that means you're only giving windows 2 gigs. My pc uses a little over 2 gigs running windows and graphics drivers.

Yeah but even if I shut down the servers It still has the issue of it not crating the ram cache

Memory leak?

Once it clears the cache at 100%

It goes down to 7% then goes up bu 1% every 10-20 seconds

Its where a program does not empty memory that it used, but no longer needs, leading to the slow increase in memory usage for no reason. Not sure if there is any way to fix it...
