Will My Existing 4790k be a bottleneck for Upcoming Pascal GPUS?

will a 4790k be a bottleneck for upcoming nvidia pascal gpus or i need a upgrade to skylake.....as though there is very little differnce for 4790k to skylake?

Not at all unless you're running SLI Pascal Titans.

 

Stick with your 4790k and overclock the RAM.

We don't know anything about Pascal at the moment but, I'm sure you'd be fine.

Hi. Really sorry but everyone is wrong. If a Pascal enthusiast card equals the current cards in SLI, you will have a bottle neck. As will I since I have the same CPU.

We will, but at 1080p, our FPS will be well over 60 anyway.

Should be good mate, I'm going to bottleneck like a bitch I think because I'm going to duct tape one to my Sandy Bridge, just hope she doesn't put up a fight.
