still gotta go with crysis 1 and 3

fallout 4 can get pretty crazy

with the highest resolution texture packs and mods, skyrim can make your computer cry

You could say AC: Unity too (at least when it came out) but that is demanding for the wrong reasons (poorly optimized, rather than just super nice looking for your hardware)

And by cry you mean devour all vram right? Because the game is still easy to run with 100s of mods.

When it comes to demanding games, still to this day i believe Crisis 3 tops the cake.  This games engine makes it almost near impossible to max out at 60 FPS. Another great demanding game would be The Witcher 3, especially with Nvidia Hairworks turned on. Other than that there are plenty of non-optimized games out there that you could say are "demanding" such as ARK: Surival Evolved and DayZ.
