Where are notepad files?

Yes, where are notepad files, i cant seem to find them in documents.

I don't actually give useful information, hopefully I just  say something funny.

Notepad default saves in your most common used folder, I believe. If not that, then desktop or documents.

 

One thing you can do is go to your start menu, and if Notepad has a little arrow next to it, hover over it and right-click on one of the documents it displays in that menu. Click on "explore" or "open file location" and it should take you to that file's folder.

go back into notepad, click save as and then it'll be where your default folder for it is

it wants to save in my documents, but they arent there
