would go for green team because of cuda but that depends if you run apps that benefit from it or not, looks otherwise like a nice build

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

try replacing things that u havent bought with these. skylake ddr4 is the way to go now. i think it gives alot more performance. really helps out if you are an editor / designer. since its just a lil bit difference in price compared to the 1150 generations, i think it is worth it.

i picked the crucial SSD because i've read alot of good reviews and comments about it. and it is also alot more cheaper compared the samsung ssd. i'd say go for crucial if you have a tight budget.

and nzxt aio cooler and nzxt fan will just look nice with your nzxt case :)

althought the nzxt aio cooler is abit more pricey compared to the corsair one. but hey. STYLE YOOOOO

You've seriously not bought any parts yet right?

That EVGA PSU is Junk...

Doesn't the i7-4790k out perform the i7-5820k

No it doesn't, the 5820k out preforms it by quite a lot especially in multi threaded scenarios as 4 vs 6 cores...if you were comparing the 6700k to the 5820k then in specific scenarios then yes but not when it's a 4790k.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I would recommend crucial SSDs any day but not when it's a high end build and you're about to use the BX200s, if it was the mx100/200 then maybe but definatly not BX200s...all 3 of my mx100s and my m500 has been faultless since buying the last one about 1 and a half years ago.

Doesn't the i7-4790k out perform the i7-5820k

the 5820k has more cores and threads, while the 4790k has more clock speed and less power consumption.

so what im guessing here is, when rendering video, yes the 4790k will outperform, but the 5820k helps you multi task alot smoother.
