Umm no this is not how MMR works...

 

A high MMR Silver 3 will play vs Silver 4, not GNM/MG that's retarded.

 

GN4/MG is MASSIVELY higher skilled to their rank..

Its the new ranking system, it tryes to get everyone to guldnova 3 range, and becuse of that theres not many silver players so they gets placed in higher ranked matches

Well let us consider that GN4 is the old DMG/LE.. you get the idea of how much of a huge skill gap there is now between Silver and GN players.

 

Old GN players are now Silvers.

It can really depend on your hidden MMR & they will have been que'd with the MG1. I've que'd with DMG/LE's as a GE in the past week and been put against MGE's.

 

At the minute the ranks are still steadily averaging out against the new shift. Plus even with equal MMR/ranks in the game you normally get a shit show in terms of 16-0 or 0-16.

That's interesting... i did queue up in an LE/DMG match as MG1 on my main so... well i don't i just don't know.

 

Funnily enough before teh rank shift the image on OP, that account was ve LE/LEM on my 4th win haha.

we won though. Sure, sometimes the better players carry quite a bit but that doesn't matter.

And sometimes the MG's you play against are also only boosted silver 3.
