Honestly, there are some people. My dad for example is still using DDR2, because he has no need to upgrade. And I'm sure there are people who cant upgrade for money reasons too, so there may be people with DDR (first gen) still

I have a ddr2 computer, as for ddr1 I think have one but it's broken, either that or it uses the standard before ddr whatever that was.

The OP means DDR(1), the latest is DDR4 and DDR3 is still used more often (as of today).

My aunt uses it in an old desktop, my Mum uses it in here old laptop (with a 3.2GHz desktop P4), and then there is the DDR2 in my brothers A3H and the 2GB of SDRAM on my Abit VP6.

DDR is so ancient - the only machine I have that still runs it is a mobile-Athlon laptop from 2001. It still works, but I would never use that laptop for anything.

I use a lot of systems with DDR, in fact the one I am using right now has 1gb (512mbx2) in dual channel, not all that bad, web browsing and even YouTube is fine on it as long as the OS is not a resource hog. CPU is more of a bottleneck.

but my motherboard supports ddr3 so im reusing some old ddr3 instead of hunting more ddr2 :3
