Ubisoft has a message for PC Gamers

AlTech

The amount of salt in here could turn the entire earth into the dead sea. Wow.

Based on the information we have (and the settings menu), The Division looks to be an amazing PC version. Changing the HUD (outside of outright modding like in TF2) is something I've only seen in Borderlands 2. Multi GPU support is something I've never really seen. It usually always requires driver profiles.

No this has the potential to be great.

As for uplay, sure it still has a way to go, but it's really not that bad. The user profile, levels, badges, etc. makes a lot more sense on Uplay than on Steam. And is not made to suck people dry of useless crap *caugh*tradecards*caugh*.

Speaking of Uplay, it's possible to preload the PC beta right now.

pointing out features like unlocked framerate and multi-resolution with keyboard and Mouse support and video settings like it's something to be amazed at and some kind of fascinating feat or feature for a game to achieve.... like c'mon... I don't believe they care about anything more than the dosh, what herritage? what pedigree?

bullshit i'm  telling you

if it runs any better than Batman did they will act like they are the merciful gods that gifed you with this game and that we all should be thankful for it

#PCMasterRace has become a joke for gaming industry

!!!!!! STOP PRE-ORDERING GAMES AND GAMES WITH DAY ONE DLCs !!!!!!

Stop buying stuff from EA (Expectorating Assholes-the American Ubisoft) then?

So the division beta is fucking fantastic.

Runs smooth as butter on a single 970 @ 1440p with mostly high settings, been playing for an hour and 20 minutes and have not seen anything worse than a door that wouldn't open until I walked away and then went back.

Its beautiful, polished and plays amazingly well, and its only a BETA.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to the darkzone for the first time.

Main Rig:-

Changing NOTHING? LOL

Assassin's Creed Rogue, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, The Crew, Rainbow Six Siege, The Division Beta. Just the ones I remember.

All of these games come with loads of PC specific options and run quite well, especially The Division beta which I've been playing.

Also, people saying that they're doing the minimum for PC and think they're great. No, they're doing quite a bit for PC actually, not only are they providing things like full keyboard and mouse support which some consider a minimum requirement yet lot's of developers and publishers actually do not in provide this in menus. They are providing support for a huge range of systems as the game is incredibly scalable. Low to high end (unlike Assassin's Creed Unity which was min GTX 680 lol). It supports fully customisable HUD and UI for PC, provides dual monitor support, Keyboard LED support (lol).

Oh, unlike some other multi platform online games this supports text chat, push to talk and fully rebindable keys.

The online connectivity is pretty damn stable and consistent. I haven't lagged since the launch night and never have dced.

Hmm, they mustve seen EA pay attention to a massive market and thought "oh a couple people do play on PC"

They looked at their sales. The PC market is bigger for Ubisoft than Xbox One or PS4 (not combined). It would be fairly significant to overlook such a significant chunk of their sales, ~40% in the case of next gen only games.
