some say putting your phone near your genetal can harm it (putting your phone it your pocket) adding a 2ndary device will technically do more harm.

 

for OP, the jeans would probrably be so heavy iam already lazy enough to walk + lazy enough to wear jeans because it's a little heavier than a cottom pants. i probrably wouldn't survive an intire minute or so

Well keeping your phone in your pocket is already kinda bad for your balls, thought it would be bad having it charge in your pocket (if through wireless charging).

Belts are usually folded, flexed, rolled up, etc. the abuse they suffer would certainly damage any battery material built into them.

You could make a (solid) holster for mobile, that has a guide it to docking station that has normal battery bank.

Like two AA rechargable batteries.

OR stupid companies would just make battery bigger and stop putting 16k screens into mobiles.

You would also need to charge your pants or belt at the end of the day... the idea is good but not very practical.

i have not found a credible source that says phones are bad for you in that specific way.

I was however referring to electromagnetic feilds around high electricity areas like transformers where they are generating a large electromagnetic field. the one in your pocket would not be enough to do anything

That's a fallacious argument but people are working on flexible batteries. Don't expect them any time soon.

Yes but we don't dick around with flexible screens, if any phone or mobile device had such a flexible screen it would always be taken care of by rolling/folding it inside a safety container.  We wouldn't bend or twist it, the abuse it suffers would be a lot less than that of a belt.

I have an idea, why don't yall stop buying the phones with the worst battery life?  There are excellent phones out there with awesome batteries.

Because I noticed that there isn't anything like this on the market and walking with my power bank in one pocket, then routing my cable with my belt and to the phone in second pocket and unplugging it every time I need it was so annoying, but still, this feels weird to me. Actually I was even thinking of buying a wireless dock to put in my second pocket and plug it in but that is just too much

I heard about smart belts some time ago so yeah.. Didn't read an article but now I wonder if it is possible to make tens of little cells or some you know.. Ultra thin battery technology that bends.. Multiple layers of this.. But aren't batteries just some acid with two metals inside? You can bend liquid (when you pour it into something flexible and you can bend metal sheets, you just need to isolate them in some way.

Acid with two metals?  Are you thinking about car batteries?  What if the belt breaks and the acid leaks out?

 

Lithium batteries are layers of very thin lithium sheets pressed together, sandwiched between a very thin insulating layer.  Then there are chemical batteries, like the alkaline batteries that generate electricity by the chemical reaction of two elements.

 

 

By the way, a battery the size of a belt would be a lot more than necessary to give the phone an extra charge.  There are already portable USB power banks out there the size of a large lipstick container.

with battery damage you could protect them by sectioning them of from each other in an individual case that could be shaped so that to belt could become flat. for the whole testicle cancer thing what doesn't give you cancer gg

I think it would be better to make something that can be attached, strapped, clipped onto a belt than making a belt that can power/recharge a mobile device.  What happens if the belt goes out of fashion, you'd be throwing away a good battery or wasting money.
