The Might 980 Ti

WaitDontSh00t

No, you're wrong. Big surprise but just because two things are from the same manufacturer doesn't mean they're the same. And I've REPEATEDLY said the block is different.

EDIT* Oh, and I love Jay but my Hybrid kills his, even the boost clock is higher on mine. So I don't know what he did. And you've been proven wrong in the past going off Linus and his poor testing methods so let's not go there again.

It is "better" than the Seahawk but not in a manner that honestly matters at all. That said the hybrid is really reasonably priced atm so why not get it when imho it's the best looking of the aio variants by far.

Many if not most reference pcbs can't hit higher than 1484 (look up any evga hybrid card review and almost all of them are sub 1500 boost clock).

Sure you can get lucky and get one that does better.

Outside of that, it is possible if not probable that since the original review Jay did (first on the market iirc) evga made modifications to get better hybrids out to market.

It's still a great card, but not quite on the same class as the other high end pcb variants or even up to the level of other custom 980ti's when/if thermals are kept in check (on average)
