280x or 950? at $280ish each

Hey, thinking about buying a 280x but the wondering if the 950 is better? I'm leaning towards the 280x but I'd like to have some some other opinions, any help is appriciated thank you.

The 280X is better by far.

 

Just for reference, it goes 950<960<380<280X

For $280 you can get a GTX 970 or R9 390X.

280X is a whooping 50% faster

you obviously don't deal in the native currency of dallarydoos, it costs a lot more than that for a 970/390x here

Definitely the 280x. The 280x sits just below the 290/390. The 950 is a few tiers down.
