New Built Computer Shuts Off on Certain Conditions

Appleboy45

I built a computer with a Asus Z170 Mark 1 motherboard. A Intel Core i5 6600K overclocked to 4.5 GHz (Problem still exists overclocked or not). Cooled by a Corsiar H75. 8 GBs of RAM. 1 TB WD Black. 512 GB Samsung 850 Evo. with a Corsair CX750 PSU and a Corsair Carbide 200r. I'm having this problem were the computer will randomly shut off. It sometime does it when I remove the screws to the side panel, it will sometimes do it when I open the side panel, it will sometimes do it when I mess with the cables in the back, and it also does it when I plug in headphones to the front audio jack. I have checked for loose cables, but nothing was loose. Does anyone know what's going on?

The problem was the PSU. But it wasn't the PSU itself. One of either the SATA of PCIe cables were loose. It is a CXM PSU. Put that in and never had a problem ever since.

Mention a Corsair CX series on this forum and thats automatically the problem, regardless of what the issue really is.

Just because they aren't top quality, doesn't mean every single one of them is a brick guys........

Happens with Razer products too most of the time. I fear for the day that I happen to have any issues with any of my Razer peripherals and have to post about it here.
