I use a Corsair Force 3 ssd as my windows boot drive and some games on it.

I have a 1Tb Seagate Sata 6Gb for game video recording, then a 2Tb Samsung drive for storage although it's full so I keep having to delete stuff.

I have also got a 320Gb external drive which I use for a back up and some other bit's of vital stuff that cannot be deleted.

I have a Corsair Force Series GS 128GB SSD and a Seagate Barracuda 2TB. A really good quality setup as I can put all my main programs and OS on the SSD for super fast boot speeds and there is plenty of storage on the Barracuda for music, movies and less commonly used programs.

My OS boots off a Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD and I have 4 x Western Digital Caviar Blue that I got free of a film shoot I was working on.

I have the 4 x 1TB in a raid 5 configuration for a good balance of speed and storage so when I play back 4k RED footage on set HDD data rate capping isn't an issue. I run my OS on an SSD because once you booted from an SSD you can't go back... I now lack the patience.

Lets see... I have a 750Gig internal drive on my laptop as I needed lots of local storage and to go with that I have a 1TB external game drive. I just got a server setup with what was originally 4 mis matched 120Gig drives in raid 5 but one of the drives died so I replaced it with my old 250Gig laptop drive. The boot drive for the server is another 120Gig drive but its an IDE drive. The reason I run the server like that is because I don't exactly have the money to get a bunch of matching drives(almost everything in my server is a hand me down from my dad), and the reason I run the 750Gig and 1TB combo from my laptop is that the 750Gig drive was quite a bit cheaper and faster then the 1TB internal drive I was looking at aswell at the time and the 1TB external drive I got as my laptop is my main system and I an one of the few people who still use an optical drive so I didn't want to replace my optical drive with the second drive.

1. Right now I'm using just a 500gb seagate barracuda 7200rpm hard drive, I cannot afford an ssd or a new hard drive for additional storage and would love to win one to have sufficient storage for my ever increasing downloads.

Running a 120gb 840 evo as a boot drive in my main rig, aswell as a ghetto old 320gb as a programs drive and a second hand wd 1tb black for mass storage. Also running a cheap E-350 htpc/fileserver with a 60gb ssd boot drive (old one out of the main rig) and 2 second hand 1.5tb samsung I scored on the cheap as storage/network drives, no raid or anything just running as a spanned drive. Works well for media and backups, not entriely sure about reliability but it was cheap

I need the extra space and don't have the funds at the moment for more space and I have so much digital information! It's very frustrating haha.

I use a 64 gig Crucial M4 SSD as my boot drive, since that's all I could afford to buy at the time for an SSD. I have a few games I play a lot installed on there too. I also have a really old 80 gig WD drive for everything else that my friend gave me so I can have a bit more space.

i use a

SAMSUNG HD642JJ 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive

Because it was with my pc build...

it was going well but after a year (now) i ran out of space...and if i want to do anything,i have to delete stuff.

all the "stuff" i have in my storage are needed.

"20Gb avaible from 588Gb"

i dont live it because i have no space anymore...

I have a setup that needs to be upgraded somehow, i cant even affort a cheap portable hard drive.

Not avaible to upgrade my graphics card and i cant play any future games (worst dream for a Gamer like me).

First of all, thank you Linus for this giveaway.

My storage configuration consists of a 120GB boot SSD from Kingston, a 640GB internal drive from WD, black edition and 2 external drives, one 2TB from WD and another 1TB from Seagate, both use USB 3. I also have a 750GB external drive from WD, USB 2 that's not used anymore. I have this configuration because I have a lot of data to store, and also for security purposes; the folder in which I keep all my projects, the my documents folder and my xampp ainstalation are all backup up daily on my internal and external WD drives, and also on the Seagate drive.

I have 4 different hard drives in my system.

Seagate 1TB

Seagate 750GB

Toshiba 250GB Laptop

WD 320GB Laptop

The 1TB drive I bought on sale before the floods in Taiwan

The 750GB was a drive I received when a friend gave me a "broken" computer (that still works)

The Toshiba and WD were both scrapped from old laptops that were no longer working

Here I shared the link on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/keith.eliseuson?hc_location=stream

Don't have a twitter... :(

I would be grateful to have these, and this would give me enough storage to continue my downloading as all of my drives are filled to the brim with anime, music, and steam games.

I am running a CORSAIR FORCE SERIES 3 120GB SSD MLC as boot drive aswell as a drive for my Battlefield 3 addiction so that the game starts faster.

I am also running one WD Green 2TB 3.5" drive for mass storage for my other games and films. I was running with a 1TB green aswell but it stoped working after 3 years of beating.

I am moving in to streaming and youtube now so i am planing on buying 2 3TB drives for videos.

Right now I run an OLD 60GB SSD as my boot, a WD Black 2TB as my Games, Apps and Game Recording drive, as it's fast and realiable, plus because my Steam folder alone is pushing 700GB by itself, and a WD Green 1TB for Archives and other storage, as it's quiet and will spin down when not in use. My Server has a cheap 30GB HDD as a boot drive and a 1TB WD Blue as a general media streaming drive, as well as a general backup. Looking to get a RAID array going someday, when I have the cash.

The world of Gaming is vast, take it a bit at a time.

i have 2 Vertex 3 in RAID 0 and a 320Gb barracuda for my games... SSDs for speedz, RAID 0 for moar speedz, and 320GB for games because games take a lot of space and don't really benefit from the SSD's speeds, and I already had that drive from my previous PC.

I really want to set up a NAS to centralize my media data, at the moment it's all separated and 3 external HDDs :( since I use two computers (plus smartphone and tablet) would be nice to have all the data in one place...
