a-10 vs 9590 vs i7

How does the performance of the a-10, fx-9590, and the various i7s compare? I used to have an a-10, now have a 9590 in my new build, and am curious about the performance I am getting.

It depends what you're measuring performance in. Recent i7s are going to beat both of them at everything.

You should have asked around first, since the 9590 is on an outdated socket make with an outdated architecture. An i7 is so much better it's silly. Remember, the 9590 is a binned 8350.

basicaly, here as you can see the i7-4790K which is last gen intel quad-core completely destroy the FX-9590.

The i7-4790K average 45% faster overall with a +55% single-core floating point performance (very important metric)

Against a skylake i7? it's nowhere near the performance...

The 8320 doesn't OC that high. After all, the world record on OC for CPU's was an 8350. I also think the 8350 came out first.

You ddin't mentino what A10 but any A10 out there is going to get crushed by both cpu's. Which i7 exactly? A Xeon 1231 or a i7 4790K crushes the FX 9590 in every task.
