Which would yield better results? multiplayer or bclk

so currently im running my 4690k at 4.5ghz and 1.35 vcore (1.9vrin 1.15 ring). i've been wondering if i could get any higher than that using the bclk? thanks in advanced!

Any good overclocker knows you need to use a combination of the two.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX OC | BitFenix Prodigy (Black/Red) | XFX PRO Black Edition 850W

The Multiplier seems to be superior to BCLK overclocking.

1.35v and you could only get 4.5Ghz? :(

I get 4.9 on my 4790k at only 1.325

i've heard you don't need to change anything as long as the change within the bclk is within 5 mhz, is that correct?

105 BCLK

46x

1.3V

That should be achievable if you're lucky.

Blck overclocking range is dependant on a few things, for more extreme blocks it was mainly my gpu. my gt610 was happy with 135 blck on x79 but the 7950 started to suffer around 129
