Did I win the silicon lottery? i5 4690K 5GHz

That's much more specific, but what stress test are we talking about?

I used the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.
I don't know if it's any good.
Do you suggest using another or an additional program? =)

It's not black or white, but here's my opinion:

I think a lot of people wouldn't want to run that voltage 24/7 on 22nm Tri-Gate.

Closer to 4.7/1.325V would be preferable.

But if you can get it to around 1.4V you can run it if you can cool it

Is 1.325 good? I must have won the lottery then! 4790k at 4.7/1.275v

1.325 is what I'd call the 'middleground'. Your chip is nothing special in terms of scaling but it's still good enough to get that 4.7GHz clock speed that most Devil's Canyon CPUs could get.

But 1.275 for 4.7 is nice :)

Hello, everyone.

Last night I started tinkering around with my i5 4690K and I was able to get it to 5GHz on all cores.

I think it's an unhealthy overclock.

Baseclock is 102.1MHz, CoreVoltage is 1.450V and Multiplyer is 49.

I'm not sure how low I can set the voltage yet.

I'd appreciate your comments =)

I run it at 4.5GHz with 1.200V at the moment btw.

With that core voltage? No, you didn't.

Personally, I'd stick with the standard 4.5ghz overclock at a lower frequency since you won't notice any real world performance increase. Naturally you'll be drawing a lot less heat.
