Cant run ram in dual channel for some reason.

I cant seem to run my ram in dual channel. I have tested the ram individual and work fine, i have also tried running in non dual channel like one on each channel and work fine. But when ever i have try dual channel on either of the channel it seem to give me memory error (0055). I have tired using mem ok but when i press the button my computer just reboots and error occurs again. Has anyone got any ideas because i cant figure out what is broken. Any help would be appreciated

Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2133C13R 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Red

Sabtertoothz170 mark 1

MSI 980ti

Yes both of these give me errors but A1 A2 is fine, should i go try B1 and B2?

For dual channel you should use A1 and B1 or A2 and B2.

You need to skip a slot.

When i place the ram in A1 and B1/A2 and B2 it gives me memory error. At the moment im putting i together so it will boot.

Can you use 1 stick and then load XMP profile for it?

Then put in the 2nd one.

I have tired loading one and it works but i havnt done XMP yet but i will go try it. Thanks.
