Logitech announced their new mouse, Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum.

 

It's as same as Proteus Core, but with RGB Lightings. 16.8 million colors to choose from.

ha ha! Logitech Customer support is best. I sent G400s, and I received G402.

Nice, that's my only complaint about my G502, I have to have all the LEDs off and had to paint the blue on the mouse because it doesn't match anything in my setup.

ha ha! Logitech Customer support is best. I sent G400s, and I received G402.

that's because they don't have g400s's anymore so they have to send a newer one.

Yeah, That's nice too know.

 

I once called their support and complained about my MK200 keyboard, They sent me one without asking for my older one.

Don't care about the G, but I do very much hate my blue DPI lights. A couple weeks sooner would have been nice.

16.8 million, but you can only tell the difference between 30

THEY HAVE THE SAME NAMES!

This is a whole new mouse.

 

You cannot tune a Proteus Core to RGB.

 

You should have Proteus Spectrum to change the Lightings as they have the multicolored LEDs inside the mouse.

 

They don't have the same names.

G502 is already good imo.

 

Just RGB was missing.

That's an even lazier refresh than Razer did with the latest Deathadder. 

They really need to reduce the weight and make it a bit wider.

Depends. If the mouse is selling well, no need for that, reducing the weight and making it wider is your personal preference only

A lighter G502 would have been widely welcomed and there might have been a real use for the included weights. A lot of other people find it narrow too, but yeah, it's personal thing. And of course it's going to sell well when everyone is blindly suggesting it. :D

Yeah, just lower down the brightness to the left end. It'll be off.

Is the LED control in the software that handles the macros and sensitivity? Everything else about my computer is black or red (original xD) so it would be quite nice to turn off that LED.
