Corsair h60 and weird CPU temps

Hi I just installed my corsair h60 and since I checked my bios it says its at 22°C is this just weird software reading?

Considering at idle my Siedon 120V-which is worse-has the idle temps of my 4790K at 28-30oC, I'd say that that idle temp is accurate-unless the ambient temp is higher.

I forgot to mention that its a fx 8350. That's why I don't believe it

In that case ignore the temperature sensor-its not built into the CPU but the socket so its inaccurate.

What is your ambient temperature?

About 26°C

use something like aida 64 to see the true tempature.

If you assume the worst-case scenario 20°c offset, your core could very well be running at 49°c under load, the same as the socket. If I were in your shoes, I'd assume that's the case.

It is better to use load temperature than idle temperature, this gives you a more reliable idea as to how your cooler is working.
