How to tell if you overclocked your cpu?

so i watched a video...and then i overclocked my cpu...but nowhere i go does it say anything different...i thought it would say "i5-4690k @ 4ghz" but it didn't change... does this look right? or nah

it says 3.96 GHz its fine

it says 3.96 GHz its fine

DO NOT USE PRIME 95!!!! IT WILL DAMAGE YOUR CPU

also...i overclocked my cpu mainly for fun...and mainly for physics in benchmarks and games...im pretty sure physics is cpu based isn't it? if so how much of a benefit will this 0.5ghz give me?
