Is it bad that I use 2 keyboards?

IshanSethi
Go to solution Solved by Gale,

No, I use three. Each with a different switch type: Red, blue, and brown.

And to answer your second question; it just fits their posture.

I like the Corsair k95 RGB for Gaming but I like the steelseries apex (membrane) for typing.. is that BAD??? my hands are so used to it. and another questions about peripherals,  why do people place them  diagonally while using them in games like CS:GO????

I know but people tell me its so inefficient... I mean I type like a god on a membrane keyboard (not to brag) and I can passively hit keys that I want to while I play games.... Ik I just said the same skill set twice but they require a different hand posture, if that makes sense.

So that the wrist doesn't have to bend and when the keyboard is diagonal the wrest is straight and resting.  Well, I use 3 different mice on my PC :P

practice on the one you like. When i switched from my logitech G15 keyboard to my current mechanical, I typed at 1/4 the speed and miss-typed all the time. after an hour of using it I very quickly adjusted, and after several hours my typing speeds even improved.

Mechanical keyboards improve everything...

they really do.. my story is that i used the apex back in the day and got the corsair one for christmas, well with the money that I got from christmas... and what I found was my ranking in both CS:GO and DotA went up substantially... and right now I dont like to type on the corsair one, I just have to get used to it I guess... Arent mechanical keyboards better for the hand??

6 keyboard master race reporting in. I actually sit in the middle of an O shaped desk with 6 monitors surrounding me all displaying the same thing, each with a different keyboard in front of it. This way I can have access to all 6 of my keyboards while still being able to focus on one task.

Heck, you can have both keyboards plugged in at the same time even.

Go wild and do what works best for you.
