"Buy the game if you are a darksouls fan, but get it when it's on discount."

seems to me like a dark souls clone, so i would get it if you have played dark souls and want some more

Although you can maybe buy it as a bootleg darksouls if you cant afford the real deal

Watch a review?

From what ive heard and seen (in videos) It is a challenging game similar to dark souls (not sure exactly how difficult) and the art style is awesome and the game looks fantastic, ive heard the game mechanic is pretty decent also.

Only problems ive heard about are issues with the game starting or crashing..

I found Dark Souls 1 fairly easy.

I'm asking people who've played it what they think since I can't really ask reviewers specific questions

i would say buy dark souls 2 instead, its easier but this game seems like its worse in a lot of ways according to the reviews

I fell asleep playing DS2 - so damn easy. I'm not kidding, I barely broke a sweat in DS2...

EDIT: Even PvP is easier... Kids invade me, I parry them, they die.

Lords of the Fallen for 9.99EU, is it worth playing?

Bought it, tried it, refunded it. I truly despised it, the combat felt incredibly slow to the point I wasn't willing to bear it for longer.

This is what I wanted to hear - a person who has experience. Thanks. I'll be skipping it.

I loved Lords of the Fallen. I've played it 1.5 times through so far, and I'll probably play it again.

Someone who refunded it didn't play very long, and maybe isn't a fan of this style of game in general. They do say the combat felt slow to them, so they probably aren't interested in this type of game.

I think the combat is great, and there's a real weighted feeling to it that I immediately enjoyed. Rather than being a button masher, LotF depends on careful attacks, defence and dodging, and timing, and each encounter is its own challenge.

There are people who say DS 1 is harder, and there are people who say LotF is harder. I don't know which you would be, but I found LotF pretty difficult until about finished with my first playthrough. After I'd learned the tactics, I found it easier in my second playthrough, though not like I could take on creatures of a much greater level than my own very easily.

If you liked DS1, you'll probably like Dark Souls, even though it has its own character and way of doing things.

The atmosphere and art in LotF is fantastic.

I think it's worth more than 10 EU. If it's on Steam, you can always return it if you play less than 2 hours and find it's not your thing.
