can anyone list the best headphones for listening music? willing to spend around $150 for it. :D

Open-backed, closed-back, noise cancelling, "bassy", "treble screeching", asthetics, etc?

Audio Technica's usually make great headphones, I use the ATH-M20x and it even that sounds good! for the price you're willing to spend however I'd go for the ATH-M50x!

It's main flaws are lack of soundstage, shallow ear-pads, and general horribad sound compared to other entry-level hi-fi stuff.

True, i'm not ~too+ knowledgeable on the whole high-level audio stuff yet, as i'm more of using low-level stuff due to bad funds :P

so what would you recommend?

i do like bass but not that much.

Pretty happy with my modded 558s. If you have the extra money the 598s might be worth it but, i didn't at the time i bought them

It's generally appreciated if you can provide your own suggestions and justifications. Otherwise this sub would be nothing but links to YouTube dinguses and r/headphones.
