PIVOT is a multi-sensor, high-speed, full-body motion-capture and mobile analysis system. Unlike other wearable devices, PIVOT is cameraless with cloud-based motion capture, enabling real-time analysis and complex movement analysis....TuringSense and Bollettieri have launched PIVOT on Indiegogo, a crowdfunding website in a bid to raise $75,000 to bring the wearable technology into production.

 

Right now Pivot is build to help you improve your tennis posture and skill, but I'm thinking this could be easily adapted into the VR world in a pretty neat way. Guess we'll have to wait and see. :)

haha, I don't think it just that. From the look of things they already got a bit of backing for their startup. So I think the Indigogo might just be the way there getting the word out about their new compony. And hey, I guess if you play Tennis the Gogo campaign is a good deal right. :P

like always wait for it to get funded by other people and if it does come true and works buy it then otherwise dont waste your money

TuringSense will support the export of data so the data can be used with custom avatars.
