Hey, im thinking of getting a new headset because i have almost completely broken my A50. I have been looking quite a lot at the Sennheiser Game One, would that be a wise purchase or is there any other headset i should go for instead? Price doesn't really matter too much, only thing is i dont want leather on ears or some sh*t like that.

A good/ok built in mic is also a must. Thank you (::

While we are on this topic, can you tell my how I can use my Astro A50s for Skype? Headphones and mic simultaneously.

haha, not got that big of a budget + i would much rather have a built in mic ;) thanks though :)

you shouldn't really have any problem with it? i've had mine for 2 years now and i just pop the AUX in the transmitter and the pc, do the normal shi* you do when u enter an aux and it comes on, can't really help you there except asking if you've tried to paly with the settings inside skype for mic/sound.

Plug the usb cable from the receiver into the pc and then skype should auto detect it, that's how it works on my A40s

I have a 3.5mm cable, which is what came with the headset. Do I need to purchase a 3.5mm to USB cable?

No just plug the usb cable that powers the receiver into the pc.

there is a USB-MiniUSB for the reciever, and a 3.55mm/optical that's all you really need.

Your pc should do the rest.
