I know i know its a weird discussion, but in all honesty im completely in a twist! DISCLAIMER! I am only able to get the 960 so plz no AMD options or more expensive nvidia cards thanks!

Now should i wait for nvidia to release there next line of cards and get a pellet rifle for varmint hunting/practice for my real AR? Or go with the 960 4gb and get the MCX at a latter time?

i have a real AR i want one for plinking and practice without having to buy $9999 worth of 300 blackout

you're losing a lot by going with a 960. R9 380 is 15% faster for less money and isn't bottlenecked by the 128-bit bus

There's no reason to prefer NVIDIA unless you need the CUDA cores or ShadowPlay.

A paperweight implies that something is completely useless, which the GTX 960 is not.

 

To answer the OP (since no one has as of yet), I'd get the Sig and wait for whatever NVIDIA has coming down the pipeline.

as in....

meaning the 950 is a better offer since a 950 is 50$ cheaper and performs only 10% slower. R9 380 is 30$ cheaper but performs 15% better than a 960

960 isn't a worthy upgrade in my honest opinion - the FTW 750 Ti with a nice OC can come close to a 950 - at that point you're close to a 960 as well
