I'm pretty sure you can only have a maximum of two R9 295X2s in XFire.

Why not crossfire 4 290x? :P

I'm pretty sure the GTX 480 is the hottest and most power hungry single GPU to have ever been created.

cruptocurrency mining or folding@home when not gaming should help

We've now got three different subjects going on, an Asian fox and motorbike fetish, two guys talking about Norway invasions and then some other people talking about body building... This thread is turning into a free for all fetish infested Norwegian circle jerk.

Basically, yes. Imagine a 485 or something...

Most will probably  not remember the so hot and power hungry GTX480 that they didn't even bother to release it . its the GTX480 512Sp , back in the day one site got hand on one and did a "review" you could say and the results ... GJ nVidia , and the tamps you ask ?

The full-load temperature was around 94℃, with a fan speed of 92%. The noise increased a little, but was still acceptable.

  and as far as i remember this one came with a AC cooler and not the stock blower one.

the site is dead so thats the best we can do.

xD

It operates at around 96C and and consumes near to 500W on a single card, TDP isn't really anything to go by.
