Yeh its worth it, still really fun. Would recommend getting the Digital Deluxe Edition, DLC makes the multiplayer much better.

Although it should be noted that most of the people playing BF4 right now are max level veterans, although you could probably find a "noob" server somewere

Just looked it up on steam, actually looks like a really fun game. Will think about buying it.

Yeah, BF is a really hard game to just pick up. Not just because the loadouts and progression is very complicated, but because everyone who plays that game must be MLG.

Indie or artsy GOTY.

Witcher 3 will probably be GOTY.

If you give money to EA they'll hook you up with MLG shortcuts

I'm playing BF4 right now. It's super popular, the DLC is great (Premium is cheap, I think it's not worth it without it.) It's fun, lots of customization (your starter guns are decked out with stuff,) and I think it'll be around a while.

I used to be quite active here.

Alright, thanks guys. (Don't have enough for the deluxe edition I am going to pick up the version that comes with the China rising dlc) Also you guys have any other game recommendations?

Oddworld New'n'Tasty ( I am a huge fan of the original games so of course I liked this one as well )

Guacamelee ( <- awesome )

Dust an Elysian Tail ( probably even more awesome , and extremely impressive since it was made by 1 single person )

Honestly , my favourite shooter is Planetside 2. Can't say too many good things about Battlefield.

I'd say emphatically that BF4 is still worth playing. It's become much more polished over the years and it's occasionally still getting updated with free content. At this point it's a ton of value for your money.

Some of my favorite games of the last few years have been the Metro Redux games, Alien: Isolation, and The Witcher 3. I'd recommend those to nearly anyone.

Dragon Pass comes out later this month for BF4. They are adding higher tick rate servers with the next patch. EA could really strike back if they make a few more BF2 maps and a few more night maps leading up to BF5. It started out as the worst BF game with great graphics to the best BF game after two years.
