I recently had to RMA my laptop that i just received yesterday because of a broken space bar, and i would like to know how good is ASUS with RMAs?

I had an absolutely terrible experience with them 

I have my 5th Z87 Sabertooth in my second system, all the RMA's took almost a month to go through and I was responsible for shipping which was a little over 25$(USD). After getting my 5th board in I said fuck it and I won't be dealing with RMAing anymore boards with them.

It was okay for me, because they just let me deal with Amazon.

I had to RMA my mothers laptop with them I had no issues.

They refused to refund me for a 270x that died on its own so I'd say not good. The thing had plenty of thermal paste, the PSU powering it was more than sufficient (Corsair CS) and it was never overclocked. Had lots of airflow. So GG Asus.

It's hit or miss. I've had no issues with Asus personally. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

It's hit or miss. I've had no issues with Asus personally. 

I've had no issues besides my strix 970 dying, but that was a faulty psu. :( And yeah, as @KingCry said, Asus RMAs are slow and expensive with shipping... If you want just find a keyboard for it and either replace the entire keyboard or fix the space bar... That's what I'd do if I were you.

I've had to RMA my monitor twice but I didn't have to pay for shipping either time. I guess it depends on the rep.

That's actually their policy to pay for shipping for monitors. All other items they won't pay for shipping.

Makes sense I guess, they could get quite expensive to ship. The second RMA though, I had to ask for the label because I think  the guy forgot.

I had good experience with their warranty, but not necessarily their products. I RMA'd my P8Z77-V Deluxe mobo after it started giving WiFi issues, as well as an ASUS Zenbook UX303LN after it's hinge broke off by itself <_< . For both cases, I had to drive to a fairly close ASUS Service Centre where I just dropped off my stuff and then picked it back when the repair was complete. Never paid for any shipping ever.
