Upgrading graphics card in Gateway DX 4860-ub33p.Will it fit and would my PC support it?

Carlos Vargas

The graphics card I want is:

http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16814127874

My computer's specs

Processor: Intel i5 2320 3.0 GHz, Quad core

RAM: 8 GBs

PCIe: 1 port 2.0

PSU: 250 WATT( I'm also going to upgrade it )

With:

http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16817139048

You guys think it will fit both ?

My budget for the card is 350 US Dollars and 70 for PSU.

Not with that PSU, and not with that CPU. You're going to need a better system overall to suit that 390.

Judging by the pictures I was able to find I think you would have to remove the HDD cage for the 390 to fit, I'm not sure about card height though. As far as the rest of your system goes you've got the PSU covered thought I would suggest a better one than the one you picked. Also while your CPU will be fine an upgrade later would be advised as it will bottleneck the 390 a bit.
