32 inch TV or monitor

smush

Hi

I am looking to buy a display for my gaming PC I don't really want to go smaller than 32 inches as I wont be sat with at a desk and probably 2 meters away so want to be able to see it clearly.

Also want to maintain 60fps in games GPU is MSI R9 390X 8GB

I was considering a 1080P TV specifically this Sony http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-KDL-32W705C-Smart-1080p-Model/dp/B00UPCJHES/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448638129&sr=8-1&keywords=SONY+BRAVIA+KDL32W705C

But Im concerened that graphics wont be good at that size due to the pixels stretching.

I have looked at 32 inch 1440p monitors but the only ones I can find are a Benq and Samsung

http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-BL3200PT-AMVA-32-inch-Monitor/dp/B00JIWLNHU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1448638260&sr=8-4&keywords=benq+1440p

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-LS32D850T-Monitor-2560x1440-300cd/dp/B00NW668UK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448638370&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+32d850d+32

Both are based on the same panel which I read have issues and AMVA isn't good for viewing angles or games and I am worried about 1440p making everything look tiny

So now I'm back at the beginning not knowing whether I should get 1080p tv or 1440p can anyone here help me? Thanks

55" 1080p pixel density is horrible. If thats your definition of sharp then id love to see what you think about 28" 4k monitor lol anything over 32" at 1080p is too "pixelated"

I say this sitting 2 ft away from 3 24" 1080p screens I know the difference in my displays tyvm  . Op makes it sounds like its a tube television, its not, its far from it. and its still plenty sharp.

Even with gamemode and all possible processing turned off, the TV will still have more latency. I was debating the same thing last year. If you absolutely decide to go with  a TV. Check the latency spec. Most Tvs don't list it. There are some display reviewers who test it. So definitely search before you buy. My Samsung Hu8550 has noticeably more lag than I'm used to.
