FRTC and Game specific Overdrive (warning, large images)

Prysin

So, AMD has this feature. but what does it do?

well, it hard-capps your FPS to a user determined framerate. With the new Crimson drivers, you can choose any number between 30 and 200 FPS...

But what does this do? it helps conserve power.... by how much?

So... with FRTC enabled, forcing 60FPS... sitting in the menus/ingame of Project Cars...

without FRTC enabled, allowing the GPU to hit 700 FPS in the menus and whatever in game...

this may not be much atm... however i intend to dig deeper, and see just HOW much power i can save. while still getting stable 60 FPS in games....
