It can probably run it. Wouldn't see why exactly you want to run OS X

Go watch Linus' Hackintosh guide. buy exact same components that are supported. AND FYI, macs don't use .exe . They can't open it.

OSX does not run .exe files natively. On top of that you can run programs intended for XP on newer versions of Windows so there's really no need.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

Most likely it will work. Got to Tonymacx86, you'll get much better help there. But why do you want it to run OS X?

I'm look at OSX because Windows is so damn expensive for a budget build, and my grandpa already has a Mac, and this is going to my Granny soooo why not? And I've already built the PC, I have it right beside me running Ubuntu but my Granny could never use it, it's waaaaaaaaay to complicated. Do you think maybe you guys could find some cheap windows copy's if you'd recommend that.

And it's Photoshop 7, she does NOT want to purchase it again, she learned this version in High School so she uses it a lot, she even made my Grandpa's buisness' logo

As far as windows copies go, G2A is one of the best places to get them for cheap.

Take a look at...

See whether your parts are compatible, OS X isn't able to run .exe files. OS X uses .app instead, for .iso they usually use .dmg but it can read .iso as well.

As I can tell from your post, you are not skilled either, and my choice in parts was swayed by this forum and other tech tubers. Thanks for the help anyway guys. I think I'll just go for Windows from somewhere cheap, and my question about .exes also asked if you can use the program files and use them on Mac, I figured you couldn't use .exes but I might as well ask.
