You just clicked on pause, you didn't remove the slot altogether? If so,

it shouldn't do that granted you have made any sort of decent progress

into the wu. You could go into configure > Advanced and set the checkpoint

frequency to 10 minutes or so, although i would have assumed it would

automatically make a checkpoint whenever you pause the slot, atleast

when you have made more than 1% progress on a wu.

Just pause it, if you manually delete the slot you literally remove it,

checkpoints and all.

Well it depends on how long u have had the system folding for. Its saves ur progress every 24 min by default I believe or something along those lines its just better to have ur system fold for atleast 1 hour at a time before stopping it again so that u won't be wasting time and power

How long was it paused for? Might have exceeded the time limit on the WU. And this is the GPU you are pausing right?

I was trying things out at the beginning, so I paused it for like 1-2 minutes. But I think it's what @tobben said, it hadn't been running for longer than 15 minutes so it didn't save the progress :)
