Why is labeling spelled wrong in the code of conduct?

is there some sort of funny backstory to it that i dont know because im new?

):

4.1 Trolling

This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums.
  • Causing disturbances in forum threads such as picking fights or insulting other members.
  • Making non-constructive posts for the purpose of causing unrest.  This includes posting LMGTFY links.
  • Abusing the Report Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
  • Labelling a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements.
  • Replying to a thread simply to call the author a troll (regardless of whether the post is actually trolling)
  • Excessive use of different fonts / font colors for non post formatting purposes will result in moderative action.
  • Quoting another user but editing their quote

EDIT:

Not spelled wrong, im just an idiot...

Both spellings are correct.

Labeling is the American English spelling and Labelling is British English.

Same with things like color and colour.

EDIT:

As LTT is Canadian, they would technically use Canadian English, which incorporates both British and American English, but seems to take more from British English, seeing as it is a commonwealth. I've noticed a lot of Canadians will use the British pronunciation for words like tomato and aluminium. (Queen Elizabeth is still the reigning monarch of Canada).

Yeah, but... watch. No-one in america cares, so long as they're different from everyone else. We're.... sort of inclusive of americans on this forum, I guess, so we let it slide... sometimes.

Well, fuck. I'm British and even I thought it was wrong. RIP.

This is why multiple spellings are acceptable as only a select few know "correct" spellings for every word
