I think it's a bit of a step down from the 280x. Would rather it be 250 and more powerful.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

I think it is great, as it (so far) performs about 15-25% better than a 960, and the extra $30 will definitely be worth it. I may sell my 970 and get one of these to support Team Red :D

Come to the Red Side... we have cookies :D

(seriously though, if you wanna get an AMD card a 390 is where it's at. I have one and it's f**king awesome)

380's prices might be changed to $180 for the 2GB model and $200 for 4GB. AMD is so far winning the mid range GPU war, so the 380x might force the release of the last Maxwell GPU - 960 Ti.

Who the hell is VTX3D?

They are owned by TUL, just like Powercolor, hence the cooler is the same. It's just Powercolor with a different name for some regions.

Word. For the few frames the 380x offers over the 380 I'd just save up for a 390 and it's gaming glory.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Dunno but that cooler is the exact same as the Powercolor but with a different color sticker on the fans so i'm not really sure if it matters who they are.

If you knew the difference that $50 would make you'd do it.

Where do I buy it? Worked a little extra this week, and mustered up 50~.

It should be available in most stores tomorrow.

Nice, the 390 backplate isn't full length.

The 390 nitro doesn't have a backplate, sapphire wanted to cut costs.

I've wanted to paint the metallic accents on a 300 series nitro metallic purple.

O.o why have I never thought of that. You're fucking brilliant!

If anyone asks you never saw me.
