If I could get the D15 with those fans I would.. but instead I have to pay for the ugly fans then buy the Linus fans.. way too expensive.. would rather get the Raijintek Tisis

If I was in the market for a cooler, I'd probably get the noctua. Quiet is more important in my opinion then getting an extra degree.

just get Linus's :P

I really want to see a comparison with the dark rock pro 3

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

They are about the same in cooling but the NH-D15 is a bit quieter if I remember correctly.

I this why I went with air cooling.

Quite, less to go wrong, less moving parts, no leak potential, cheaper and very good cooling.

Plus it means the vent covers on top of my fractal define R5 are on so even less noise.

Need more nice looking aircoolers like the cryorig and bequiet models. Many people buy  AIO purely for the look.

If they weren't so butt-ugly I would love to get the NH-D15.. but their stupid color scheme doesn't match with anything

their 'stupid color scheme' is what sets them apart from the competition.

Don't hate on the vomit-poop color combo, it's all about performance here. If you really want more pleasing color, either use other fans and maybe subpar performance or pickup a redux version(gray/white) or iPPC(black with brown removable rubber antivibration corners).

It takes like few minutes to do something that I won't be touching for next few years .

+1 -- My 4.7GHz 6600K at load with a D15 in the R5 at my feet is quieter that the idling E8400 FreeNAS server tucked in a closet a few feet away.

As to the BPB fan colors (baby-poop brown), no window on the side panel takes care of that "problem."

why do people care so much about the color scheme of fans? Do people just stare at the inside of their computer nowadays or what?

All I care about is finding the best tower-heatsink and slapping some PH-F140MP's on it.  Color matching would be a lot more effort :P

No one. But since I own Dark Rock Pro 2 I had to learn how to live with it.

First mount took me 2 hours. Then I realized that I still haven't plugged in my PSU cables... Memories.

Now I know how to work with my PC without having to take cooler off so it saves me a lot of trouble. It is great cooler though.
