IDK, but unless they do, I wont be buying any of Bethesdas games ever again. Luckily Steam has a 14-day refund policy so I got my money back for FO4. Once they fix their shit, I might buy it again. Probably for a reduced price as well, so even if I do come back its a loss for them.

Taking Linus' advice about voting with my money all the way now. If a game is shit at release - refund!

Why wouldn't they patch it? It's only been a week since release and there has already been one patch, just be patient.

Maybe it was a bad install? You're computer should have no issues. Everyone I know (inc. myself) that got in for PC are reporting zero to very minor bugs. I know people that are on consoles reporting a lot of issues (usually its the other way around)

Compared to recent games (especially compared to previous Bethesda games) Fallout is near flawless. Every other game I've gotten this year had way more issues at launch.

I was really surprised they pushed that patch to fix the elevator/door issue so quickly. But yea, besides that I don't expect a patch soon since there isn't any other game breaking stuff like that so far.

Lack of 21:9 support messes me up. The ini edit workaround doesn't work well because if i do fullscreen it messes up the HUD and puts the crosshair off center. If i go window mode.. Well, i'd be playing an AAA game in window mode with window bar on top and program bar on bottom. Not letting Bethesta have my money for that kind of crap.

haha first world problem  "my monitor is too big to play this game proper" xD

but if that's the case, I get it. That's one of the reasons I haven't switch to 21:9 yet, develops are slow with adapting it :/

I may have had that issue once I think. When I was going in and out of a terminal (couldn't get the password right), one time I guess I did it too fast and my game crashed xD but that was the only time for me.

No it isn't

It's a piece of shit sorry m9

If you're going to use my quote to argue a point, at least quote the WHOLE sentence.

Compared to recent games (especially compared to previous Bethesda games) Fallout is near flawless. Every other game I've gotten this year had way more issues at launch.

Games I tried to play this year there were horribly broken at launch

  • GTAV (matchmaking/online still broken after over a year)
  • Assassin's Creed (syndicate, unity, and even further)
  • Arkham Knight(?) (they just gave up on the PC version)
  • and many more...

All those games were AAA games made by seasoned and large studios but barely playable at launch. Compared to those, FA4 is **near** flawless.

Pretty much the only game I've had 0 issues at launch in recent memory was Far Cry 4 (only counting full retail games)

I have zero problems in Fallout 4. 20 hours in. I seriously have not seen a single bug outside of my gun becoming invisible twice over that 20 hour span.

That is strange, I did not have any issues like that. Changed the settings in the .ini, then optimized the game in Geforce Experience, and it has worked flawless for me on 2560x1080, and 3440x1440 with DSR.
