I got a message that said: 

 

"I'm a thief, I scammed the programmer of this message sending tool and didn't pay his money. I'll burn in hell :)"

 

So I'm a little disturbed...this came from a phone number with only 5 digits.

Sounds like a spam program, but the person who is using it to spam your number is using a pirate copy of the program, and the original programmer put that message as output for anyone who tried to steal the software.  XD

 

What sucks is that since the ads that he wants to send are not been deliver, he is just spamming you and many others for no reason.

The person who sent the text doesn't seem to be a person who is a wiseguy, other wise they would have given you that message in person before taking it back and putting some lead/carbine in you or bashing your head ion with a lead pipe. So don't worry about it. However, this could be the start like in the movie When a Stranger Calls and if that is true then be disturbed, grab the nearest baseball bat and use a different phone and call 911 pronto.

It's more of a "How the hell did he get my number?" to me.
