  1. Thank you! However, all 4 slots are populated. I have 2 sets of CMK16GX4M2B3200C16. 32Gb altogether. So far the 2933 speed is sticking with manual voltage correction. This is the XMP profile #1. I will try later the XMP profile #2 as well, which is the 3200 profile. I expect that this way that will be fine too.
  2. Dam... I have B450 but this is likely what happened and I missed it. and I've seen this video in December already : D
  3. 1st piece of progress finally. ( before I continue I googled around a bit more and found 1 more person who has a similar issue, but in his case none of his bios changes are saving / applying, but in my case my BIOS change attempts are saving and applying, except the actual freq refuses to go up so far. but for example my manual timings were still there today, weeks later. and 1 more guy with exact same issue. in his case after a lot of failed attempts the thing that fixed it was disassembling the PC and re-assembling. but no other changes. so potentially a bad contact somewher
  4. "2133 is the same as 1067 x2, double data rate they call that. So when you see 1067, multiply by 2. Same if it where 1500, that's 3000mhz." I know. it means =it's still f**ked : D hmm yeah, I'll try that too, thanks!
  5. (sry for the delay, I'm quite sick these past weeks/months) so tried that too. still reads 1067 in taskmgr. and 2133 in BIOS. I also tried making some SAFE manual timings in dram calculator, but did not help: I wonder what I'm missing... loads of people write online that they can use their 2600 with 3000 and 3200 frequencies despite the 2933 official support limit. but let alone that, I'm not even hitting that 2933 either o.0
  6. Thank you! trying profile 1 now. but I'm not seeing a difference in Win yet. taskmgr and ryzenmaster shows same 1067 which is in no way right o.0 maybe it's important, that I have 4 sticks of ram. I have 2 sets of CMK16GX4M2B3200C16. 32Gb ram altogether.
  7. Hi all, This is the RAM: CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 This is my BIOS it seems: And my board offers the right settings as "A-XMP profile2" which is turned ON. yet, my speed seems to be only 1067 or 2133 depending on where I look: 1067: taskmgr + ryzen master 2133: BIOS main screen BIOS settings: what I tried to fix it: I have just changed the circled AUTO frequency to fix 3200 but it did not have an effect. also I was wondering if load will increase it, but according to ryzen master and taskmgr, the load has no effect.
  8. Makes sense, I think this answers it, thank you very much sir!
  9. Hi all, I have only recently discovered that chroma subsampling is a thing : D And when I found out that 4:4:4 is supposed to be the best on a main PC display with lots of text I wanted to try it. But when I set mine to 4:4:4 it limits another setting here: (not sure how I could resize this image, I hope it won't be way too large) Output color format has 3 options, RGB, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4. Output dynamic range has 2 options, Full or Limited. ONLY the RGB color format allows the Full dynamic range option. 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 both limit it to Limited.
  10. okay sounds good, will look into that. Is is similar to that free Razer virtual surround software I was recommend back in the day X years ago ? I think I never tried that.. Is this better ? In terms of money, well good question.. at the moment I'm looking into Sounds Blaster AE-9 because of the Tiger person's signature above : D Seems like a real god-tier product. That's 120000HUF in my country. That's like 400USD. That's a bit much for me for this purpose, but I could be convinced MAYBE to spend that much on this, IF it's like a longtime investment, for example if it would serve ma
  11. Thank you, I played with the EQ settings of the onboard audio, it helps a tiny bit, but it is not nearly the same. Not sure what "hesuvi" is : D External dac and amp yes, I was thinking that too, what products would you recommend? : )
  12. Yes, thank you, I will certainly consider an open back pair if someday I decide to replace these, but for now I'm perfectly happy with these : ) I just want to somehow make up the difference caused by the loss of that soundcard, I'm missing some quality I got used to. Any idea to address that would be perfect for me for now : )
  13. Hi all, So I had an M50x for about 7 years now mainly for gaming, and a bit of music. (added a Modmic too about 2 years ago) Love it. My issue is that since I had to remove my X-Fi soundcard due to a motherboard upgrade, I'm on onboard audio now. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450M-MORTAR-MAX This is probably the chip itself o.0 -> Realtek® ALC892 Codec aaaand I miss the bass.. and some detail, that I used to have. it's usable, but not the same. and the X-Fi card does not fit in now due to VGA clearance. I was thinki
  14. oh okay, I thought it would make sense to keep everything in 1 place for the same topic. opening a new one then, thanks! : )
